TeamXbox writes: "Always pushing the envelope in terms of how downloadable content is distributed, Electronic Arts is yet again breaking new ground with its Hasbro Family Game Night concept. Acting as an applications client, the free-to-download Family Game Night module serves as a slick little hub from which to launch a bevy of Hasbro's most famous board games. Titles such as Battleship, Scrabble and Sorry! have made the cut, as has the dice game Yahtzee and the chip stacker known as Connect 4."
Of the five on-disc games, Boggle and Yahtzee prove to be the most enjoyable, offering instant gratification either with multiple players or solo play. That every game is playable online – and compatible with those who have purchased the Xbox LIVE Arcade releases – is a saving grace, as both Sorry! and Sorry! Sliders fall heavily when no human opposition is available. All of the games feature customisable rules, the depth to which a player can tailor their games dependant on the depth of the game itself, and additionally feature a couple of pre-constructed alternative gameplay modes.
Excerpt from Examiner: Skipping right over the Original Xbox titles (which seems to never change) is my favorite part, the Top Community Games. Number one spot goes to Kodu Game Lab, which it rightly deserves (read my review here). Unfortunately, the sadness of non-games on that list comes in the form of three different "Massage" titles. Look folks, if you are buying these apps, STOP! Please! For two dollars more, you can get an actual massager, that you can use while you play actual games on your Xbox 360.
