AGN Reviews inFAMOUS

AusGamers reviews inFAMOUS and writes:

"The game-world then, reflects this and isn't necessarily the biggest of the open-world games out there. There's still plenty of space to explore, and the city planning (aka level design) is actually quite good; Sucker Punch serving up a veritable parkour playground for players where a speedy line across ledges, rooftops, signposts and railways can be easily strung together once you've worked out the machinations of Cole's cat (or racoon)-like motions. This might all sound hunky-dory, but it's just... well, let me explain... "

The guy is complaining about stuff that every sandbox games suffer from: glitched AI.
He is wondering why Cole isnt able to "drive" a car. The game may be sandbox but it is not GTA. It is more of a parkour based game. He is also wondering about why he keeps on dying a lot. Two words: You suck. I agree the demo was a bit hard but I got good at it after a few tries. This guy is playing with the retail copy that is supposed to be 20+ hours long.

I lol'd when he complained that Cole's lightning bolt can be used over and over again. That's like complaining about Spiderman's web swinging ability and how that is sooo unfair to us mortal humans >=(

Edit: @below, from what I understood, he complained about Cole's lightning bolts requiring no ammo. So does Spiderman's web ability require any ammos? The reviewer wants ammos for the lightning attacks. The game has power transformers and stuffs.

you've probably never played the full game yet, but you'll defend it till you die. Way to go fanboy, people are allowed their opinions.

Infamous is a great game (though defiantly not the second coming of christ), but I won't debug someones opinion over it.

hahaha if he had palyed the game he would know why he cant drive a car. cole says himself, that whenever he starts a car it explodes becouse it overcharges. doesnt have to be realistic but it is explained. and why would u wanna drive if u can ride a train and its rails.

umm he says parkour here: "Sucker Punch serving up a veritable parkour playground for players where a speedy line across ledges, rooftops, signposts and railways can be easily strung together once you've worked out the machinations of Cole's cat (or racoon)-like motions."

He's just saying sandbox is meant to mean freedom, but that's not the case with vehicles.

Also, the lightning bolt comment came more to me like, it's reach is limited while the Reaper reach seems limitless. I think he's just referring to the endless ammo aspect as a fact.

Maybe actually READ the review properly

probably an xbot with his own website.. i played the game, definitely not a 6.. well, xbots would give ps3 exclusive low scores to up their self-esteem..

poor xbots, i see this all the time in sports forums.. when their home team is losing they talk a lot of crap about the other teams players.. like those cavs fans bashing howard for the incident with mo williams.. saying he is not a superstar because of the technical for taunting.. got off topic there.. i'll end now

That's funny, looks like this review isn't alone in its idea about the game: http://www.penny-arcade.com...

Funny how Meta only has one perfect score for inFamous, yet we've seen a dozen of them. No, no ones biased, there is no conspiracy against Sony games.
