One thing it certainly did do was put a new twist and a blast of freshness back into the real-time strategy genre. The problem was that there was so much to learn about the controls and the game-play itself that many gamers were put off before even starting. To make matters worse, a demo was released before the game launched which just added to the confused feeling that many gamers was experiencing. But then there was those, like myself, who stuck with the game and ended up enjoying one of the best action RTS games available. To find out why you should at least give Battlestations: Pacific a try."
