I really hope MotionPlus sales are great. I want a lot of games in the future to use it.

UltimateIdiot9113072d ago

This is one of the things I find annoying about Nintendo. It's accessories after accessories. The worse part is eventually many of the games require the accessory to play.

I see where you are coming from but my thoughts are, if MotionPlus is as good as people say it is, why would we want anything less?

I agree with your points though.

kevnb3072d ago

the wii is already atleast $150 overpriced, this is maddening.

ChickeyCantor3071d ago (Edited 3071d ago )

Kev,
Consider this.

Motion plus build in the controlers from the beginning...( boy would that have been a huge controller than) and you claim its 150 over priced....but what do you think would have happened if it was build in? With the higher production costs back in 2005/2006?

thebudgetgamer3072d ago

people bash microsoft all the time about nickel and diming their costumers. (sometimes deservedly) but nintendo gets a pass. wtf. heres a motion controller now heres an ad-on that makes it work like its supposed to.

:)

MS deserves the ridicule with some of its add-ons. But I find it surprising no one does the same for Wii.

Maybe its because the Wii is still one of the best selling consoles ever. Its kind of hard to knock the king off of his billion dollar throne.

lokiroo4203072d ago

Wii isnt a real console, so give it a break.

N4g_null3072d ago

maniacmayhem the difference is people actually want the things nintendo is selling. Also nintendo has more happy customers than MS or SONY. Hey if you want to take nintendo down then sure I can see why you didn't see those things.

Also nintendo has some thing called choice a lot of times.

"N4G. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." - Old Klingon Proverb

N4G is (arguably) a place that attracts a mostly hardcore audience. The Wii attracts casual consumers. Their kind don't hang out here. Therefore, you never see them complain about accessories.

But they do. Oh boy, they do.

Dude- your reference is wrong. Try again. Hint: the other space movie.

Nope, Nintendo doesn't have more happy customers. They have customers that don't care. They don't speak up if they're unhappy. They're the following sheep that are just not that demanding.

Many of the ones owning a Wii have it standing there catching dust. But they just don't care. Hell they don't even think about the fact that the Wiimote now is not good enough, they buy the Motion plus addon as sheep, but its a thing Nintendo should have made the Wiimote like at the beginning.

You can even see it on N4G. Not so much people with a Wii posting inhere. If it sells the most, why is it that the 360 and PS3 fans are in much higher numbers here and everwhere around the net? Because 360/PS3 gamers DO care. Wii owners just don't care. You can shove them piles of shiatware down their throats and they will just swallow that nonsense.

Wii audience are nongamers. The following sheep. Nintendo could even sell a bag of donkey shiat to them and they would still be happy. Pretty sad. The target group is just dumb, retarded.
