IGN: Light and Dark: Darksiders Conversational

After more than four years of development, during which it crossed platforms, was retooled and emerged to mixed reactions, IGN can happily report that Darksiders: Wrath of War is in very safe hands. During a recent extended hands-on with the game, they were delighted to discover that it's not the mindless hack-and-slash adventure it appears to be – but rather, something more akin to a Zelda adventure – if Zelda had loads of gore and dragon-demons with boobies.

now im interested.
Comparing to Zelda is a better big deal to me.
(even though Nintendo killed the franchise on Wii) I still have hope!
i loved mi N64 more than my psx coz of Zelda..
*sighs* now to see some gameplay and stuff
(someone care to link me if there are any)

--this game gives me a fable: Lost Chapters tone to it.. and thats not a bad thing at all :D

Biblical apocalypse with the four horsemen equals pure bliss. I'm just a bit worried some of the story elements will be a tad bit cliche. As in:

Third faction that keeps "balance" between heaven and hell.
Heaven seeming like the good guys but having secret dark motives.

If any of you are fans of biblical apocalypse stories (spawn, supernatural) you know what I'm talking about. And the main character always seems to lean more towards the dark side. I know for a fact that the main character War, can transform into a demon. Yet he's supposed to be one of the inbetweeners. Still should make for a good story though. And the gameplay looks really satisfying.
