Deeko writes: "Gaming has seen its fill of WWII games. In fact, gamers have spent more time playing WWII games than the war lasted. Southpeak Games is throwing their hat into the WWII ring with Velvet Assassin, a stealth action game (and I use the term 'action' loosely) for the Xbox 360. Being a stealth game and not a shooter immediately gives Velvet Assassin a chance, even if it is set in WWII. Further helping distinguish the title is the main characters premise: based on an actual Allied spy, Violette Szabo. Velvet Assassin looks to not only bring a stealthy approach to taking out Nazi's but also to bring honor to the real heroes that fought to take down the Axis forces."
