I love you sony now just bring FF7 and I'll love u even more

JoySticksFTW3196d ago

They said a Big Three are coming soon... They got the first two right it seems, and they named the third as FFVII

Nice!

SpaceSquirrel3196d ago

Final Fantasy VII was originally published by SCEA in North America. So it is extremely likely that it will eventually become a PSOne Classic.

chaosatom3196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

I played RE4 onwards.

But how about RE? Was it any good?

How is it compared to MGS?

pharmd3196d ago

oh sh*t yeah.... long time comin!

Dragun6193196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

Did anyone notice that the release date for FF7:AC Complete is the same day as Sony's E3 conference, June 2nd?

FF7 is probably gonna be announced for or released on PSN just like the FF7 International Ver. was released on JP PSN the same day as FF7:AC Complete JP Ver. was released in Japan.

It would make sense, I mean it wouldn't be complete without the game would it now.

raztad3196d ago

HELL YEAH!!!

Can I play all the psone games on my psp? Im itching to play MGS1 but I much prefer my psp for that.

Darrius Cole3196d ago

"1.4 - How was resident Evil back in the day?"

It was an entirely different game, as in a different type of game. It was more story driven and the enemies were different. Plus, you had to conserve you bullets. Resident 4 and 5 go in a violently different direction than the RE1, RE2, RE3, and RE:Code Veronica. Plus, the early RE series had one of the best villains in all of fiction. If I could only use one word to describe them that word would be "Evil". Evil with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

@ JoySticksFTW,

Thank you very much for mentioning that...

http://playstationlifestyle...

A lot more things I talked about will be coming to light soon as well.

legendkilla3196d ago

yeah nice call sev!! i cant wait for RE1!

morganfell3196d ago

MGS on the PSP. Saaaawwwweeeeetttt!

GVON3196d ago

Yes,you can also remote play it over the internet (who needs OnLive eh)

I won't get it,I own the GameCube version,it's difficult going back to the Ps1 version as Snakes dream proved.

raztad3196d ago

@GVON

Thanks man. +buble. Im wondering if those games are really playable over a WiFi lan. I mean, the lag could seriously harm the gameplay. Well getting it anyway. Now, where is FFVII?

You Already Know3196d ago

when will these games be available?

DaTruth3196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

They have my money!

This would be better news if the D-pad on the PSP wasn't crap. It hurts so many games!

Hopefully it won't effect these games.

JoySticksFTW3196d ago

@ Sev - No Prob! You nailed this one. People need to start giving you credit on the info that you supply.

@ DaTruth - "This would be better news if the D-pad on the PSP wasn't crap. It hurts so many games!"

Really? You may be the first person I heard say anything negative about the PSP's d-pad. You usually hear gamers say how great the PSP d-pad is... with a nice feel, segmented, and raised on the outer-edges for a comfortable sturdy grip. I actually wish the DS3's d-pad was more like the PSP's.

But forget about that...

It's the PSP's analog nub that I have issues with.

theEnemy3196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

This is Snake.

Colonel, can you hear me ?

DaTruth3195d ago

The PSP D-pad has no diagonal support. Maybe it's just the PSone classics or certain games, but it makes it unusable!

This is good news, i will play them on my psp

Kurisu3196d ago

I've never played any of the MGS games...
...does MGS4 play like MGS1 but with better graphics?
I'll have to download MGS whenever it hits the UK PS Store to try it out.

Freakwave0033196d ago (Edited 3196d ago )

No, gameplay wise it was a huge improvement over its predecessors. MGS2 and 3 build up from MGS1, but MGS4 took all of the stuff from the past games, built them from the ground up, and perfected them.

SpaceSquirrel3196d ago

MGS4 is almost a completely different game from the original. MGS1 is still plenty of fun to play by today's standards, however.

PotNoodle3196d ago

Yeah, the shooting mechanics were different, fixed camera, slightly different movement.

Oh and stealth isn't optional like it is in MGS4. In MGS, 2 and 3 getting caught is the last thing you want to do, you can't simply shoot your way out of it like you can in MGS4.

Though, i still played MGS4 like the old MGS games, if i got caught - i would do what i did in the older games, try and knock out the first enemy then run off and hide again.

raztad3196d ago

You cant go gun blazing in previous MGS. Stealth is really essential cause you always are underpowered. The camera is top down and almost fixed (if I remember correctly). It' s a different gameplay but it still feels like a MGS game. Bosses are really awesome. You cant go wrong with this one.

cmrbe3196d ago

I have and still play both games on my PS1.

Christopher3196d ago

Director's Cut is a must have and I'm glad they didn't do the original version of the game.

SixTwoTwo3196d ago

Nice. I hope this trend continues and we have a nice collection of classic games on the PSN.
