Multiple WoW servers experiencing crashing, downtime

Several North American World of Warcraft servers are currently experiencing crashes and down time due to an unknown issue Blizzard is looking into.

At present writing, 38 realms are down according to WoW's Status page. (PC, World of Warcraft, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, WOW: Wrath of Lich King)

Update It seems all is well again, with all realms back up and running.
