"I'm wielding a ridiculously powerful weapon called a Tesla Cannon-it shoots lightning bolts, for God's sake-and running around a massive Jawa Sandcrawler-like mobile platform. This is Fallout 3: Broken Steel, and it's the expansion that die-hard Fallout 3 fans have been waiting for, the one that makes up for January's lacklustre Operation Anchorage and the fun but short jaunt through Steeltown that was March's The Pitt....

...However, like the rest of the downloadable content packs released for Bethesda Softworks' post-apocalypse masterpiece, Broken Steel is only available for Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Now would be a good time for PlayStation 3 owners to curse Microsoft and its penchant for purchasing DLC exclusivity (see also: Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, Tomb Raider Underworld: Beneath the Ashes, and Tomb Raider Underworld: Lara's Shadow)."
