Trio of GameCube games gets the Wii treatment

Globe and Mail tries, likes the New Play Control! games:

"...One unexpected thing I noticed while playing through all three of these games is that none of them feel as though they've aged significantly. Save a few obvious tweaks--they're all optimized for widescreen displays, for example--they look and sound as good as if not better than most of the other Wii games I've tried.

Thing is, I'm not sure whether this is a testament to the brilliance of their original artistic design, or a statement on how the Wii has failed to advance the visual presentation of games in any meaningful way.

Probably a bit of both." (Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, GameCube, Mario Power Tennis, New Play Control! Pikmin, Wii)
