The vast majority of Star Trek games to come to market have been "less than desirable", to be kind. However, while most games based in Gene Roddenberry's universe are utter garbage, there have been a few that have turned out quite good.
'Star Trek: Elite Force II' is one of those games. A FPS running on a heavily modified Quake III engine, the game only saw release for eight days before Activision yanked it off store shelves. A tragic if not slightly humorous fate for a rather excellent game.
