The gaming community had an idea of how Grand Theft Auto 4 would look and play before it was released. In the same way, every time Nintendo releases a new game featuring Mario, they know what to expect. The initial art screens and story can tell a lot about a new game before anyone gets a chance to play it. But it's rare for a composer to have as much influence over a game's prerelease hype as Bear McCreary has for Capcom's upcoming Dark Void."
