"So I've said before that I can't talk about anything I'm seeing out here in LA this week, due to strict NDAs and threats on my future children, but if I'm vague enough we should be alright.
Traditionally pre-e3 events have featured all of the games that a publisher is planning on showing at E3. Since everything's under embargo until the first day of E3 there's no real risk of them losing that "surprise annoucement" edge, and it's great for us media as it allows us to get a jump on our coverage without having to scramble that first day.
Based on what we've been seeing so far, though, publishers are clearly playing things a bit closer to their vests. There are a few games (generally very big, important, triple-A titles) that we're not hearing a peep about...almost as if they don't exist. Again, I can't be more specific than that, but these are games that will 100% have a presence at E3, but we're not getting an early look at them. Why is that?"
