WOW!!! Mega update... I wonder when 1.2 will drop in...
Seems like the Siren room will be pretty cool to play... Sounds creepy...
I like where Home is heading!

That looks awesome. DO WANT DO WANT DO WANT!!

Gantrfaxx3123d ago

Home is really turning out to be something pretty cool and fun. First Xi then this... who knows where's the end. :)

and it's all free. Smart move by Sony, they are advertising their games through Home.

edgeofblade3123d ago (Edited 3123d ago )

So, will we get picture frames and TV's yet?

@Narutone66: Except they charge for clothes. Even Microsoft hasn't done that yet. There's a surprise.

I still think Home has enormous potential. Let's hope it will live up to it, sooner rather than later.

All this added content that no other console will get for games and it's all free but people complain? I'm sorry but can you imagine if only the 360 had something like HOME?

I could easily see MS charging $79.99 for a xbox360 HOME feature and doing a value bonus bundle of Live Gold plus 360HOME for ONLY $99.99 (instead of $129.99: Live $50/ 360 HOME $79.99) while you still have to pay $5.99 to participate in these game specific HOME spaces... and the 360 fanbase would willingly pay for it and justify it.

Yet we have this for completely free and people still want to find ways to knock on HOME. Unbelievable.

I have been in the Home beta since the first batch. I really have never been a Home supporter or fond of Home besides being new technology for a console and curious about where it may head.
BUT I never bashed home and those that bash home, well it says a lot for someone who disses something which is FREE and OPTIONAL. Those folks look really silly...
I barely have enough time to play games, hence Home and the new Live interface just dont mean much to me..

How about an enormous update to the xmb Sony?

MGOelite3124d ago

dont fix what isnt broken

DelbertGrady3124d ago

Yeah. Findability is overrated.

iHEARTboobs3124d ago

I actually never really had a hard time looking for anything on the XMB. There's a lot you can do so It can be intimidating but it's not hard to navigate.

GarandShooter3124d ago

If you can't find what you need on the XMB, you couldn't find your ass with both hands in your back pockets.

raztad3123d ago (Edited 3123d ago )

I agree that xmb could use some improvements. For example I would love they improve music folder management. Photo's is awesome but music browsability is lacking. It should get new features like ranking your music, smart music grouping, last time played, etc. I know this is just an add-on, but it would help to make the PS3 to be the perfect home entertainment system.

I think once this has been out another year, things are going to be pretty fun in there. I do wish they would treat it as a place to play games first, and socializing is then just a part of that if you want to. You end up going to a space to say play a game, have to wait an hour before you get in, and you get bored. Have it so there is actual match making for all the games (except Xi and that sort of thing). So I want to bowl a bit? Let me pop up a menu and send me to a space that has a lane open and let me bowl. You'd still get to socialize. But the waiting around gets old fast. Have a menu or portal screen that pops up that shows all the games you can play in Home, and allow the user to select the game and get in right away. Add trophies to Home games, show high scores on a unified high score board right in the Home menu interface, and go from there. Maybe allow all of your Home high scores to show up on a board you can put up in your Home space.
