So you have a game that's frustrating to play, takes forever to load, and it doesn't even look that good. But wait, there's more. There is a multiplayer mode, but good luck to ever find anyone playing online. Put it all together and you've got a perfect recipe for an unhappy time, and you'd be better off passing over Smashing Toys. If you have to play a kart racer, look elsewhere, even on the consoles. You'll find a lot more fun, and far less hassle.

Out of Eight writes: "What if toys came alive? Would they revolt against their human overlords? Would they battle across New York for ultimate control of Shia LaBoeuf and his dangerous yet alluring sexiness? Would they take over the Republican Party (some would argue that toys are already in control)? According to Leon Brothers, the developer of Smashing Toys, they were born to race. Sounds plausible enough to me!"
WorthPlaying writes: "Enchanted by a terrible magic, a factory of toys must join a frenzied race to stay alive. They will have to cross industrial parks, funfairs and a forest to reach the promised island of eternal life. Check out the 460mb demo for this destructive toy car racing game."
The Indie racing title Smashing Toys has been given a price cut of 50% on Steam.
