Gamespot: Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny First Look

Gamespot: "It has been 10 years since the original Soulcalibur graced the Dreamcast, and now the flashy weapon-based fighting game has moved over to the PlayStation Portable for the first time. Namco Bandai came by to give us a first look at Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny, made specifically for the PSP with many of Soulcalibur IV's features, plus enhancements and new characters. Your favorite Jedi masters, Yoda and Darth Vader, aren't going to make an appearance in this portable version, but we do know that the core cast of Soulcalibur will be included, along with a new member named Dampierre. Details were not given beyond a name, so we're supposed to come up with our own impressions by the character art below."

and then if you're interested, you got Motorstorm. Sony so needs to announce the GT Mobile for the PSP for 2009 to finish off the revelation of the PSP's awakening.

lucky PsP owners.

"he Project Soul team has built this version specifically to target beginners and novice players with SCIV's content but has added improvements." Pretty much sums it up! It will have the trash over the top character customization, now players won't need to play SC to fight but to start making their own characters and video game characters. Like how 43% did in SC4, uploading all their characters to Youtube:/

Targeted by beginners? Guess they haven't sorted out the button bashing!

I love SC4, every time I think of the game, I just think of the awesome graphics and other stuff that makes the game great (music, armor breaking, tag team). And then I think of why I sold it in the first place, because of unbalanced fighting system, messed up Random selection and free to button bash!

by the way, fark all you Play to Wins.

And how was the customisation a bad thing ?
Face it without it i would have spent half less time than usually on a game that pretty much always lacked the depth of more advanced fighters , and with a pretty horrible balance .

The game didnt suddenly start being broken on the 4th ep , hell every of them especially the 2nd and 3rd have been called so . Imo the whole serie always has been , while very enjoyable

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, in fact I want it in every game.
But in SC4, it was too over the top. People are not playing the game what it is MEANT for: Fighting. All they do is make characters and show off.

At least SC3 had a good customization sets, because they were limited, this does not allow people to be carried away. You can enjoy customizing your character while fighting instead of focusing on customizing throughout.

Oh yea I forgot. Since this SC will have SC4 system. It will suck, why? Because of the rubbish skill settings. This is a fighting game not RPG, whereas you set skills to win a match or form a strategy.
