Geek Review: The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena "In the end, Dark Athena serves two worthwhile purposes: It's a chance for gamers who missed out on Escape from Butcher Bay to finally play it (with some added slightly less exciting bonus material), and it's an important lesson for Starbreeze. Their next two games, both being published by Electronic Arts, will see them taking on two new licenses, one spinning off from the popular Bourne movies and one reviving the long-dead Syndicate franchise. While I'm worried that this talented developer is still stuck with intellectual property that is not their own, I'm still hopeful; both of these licenses are at least a little bit more complex than the material they've worked with previously. Starbreeze, if you're listening, you're better than Vin Diesel. Keep it smart next time."
