TeamXbox writes: "While Xbox Live Arcade is a diverse mix of games-classic coin-op re-creations to casual gems to indies trying to get a foot in the game-industry door-but we're expecting a special treat when Telltale Games bring its rendition of the "Wallace & Gromit" comedy/adventure short movies to the online-game service. Though a firm release date isn't available yet, we expect that you'll be able to start playing them soon.
What makes the games from this publisher/developer, which is located just north of San Francisco, stand apart from any others is the studio's intention to build smaller games that can be released as true episodes. Each one can stand alone, but they're going to be little pockets of entertainment that you can pick up every month or so, much like…well, it's best if we let Telltale describe its plans for itself. Specifically, TeamXbox's Andy Eddy and Tom Price interviewed Kevin Bruner, Telltale's chief technology officer and co-founder, at the recent Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, and Bruner went over the company's initial strategy and its ongoing development process for bringing the highly popular clay characters to the XBLA storefront. What follows is an edited transcript of the conversation."
