Hard drive's feel the 'payne' as Max releases on Marketplace

man i just checked over some screen shots from xbl.. the graphics dont match up to the original pc counterparts... but a GREAT game though.. should not be missed by a gamer

I made it all the way to the end when a save game glitch set me back to square one. I was so pissed I didn't bother to play through again. I think I'll give it a download and give it another shot.

That's one thing I do like about Xbox Live that isn't found on PSN. Full length original PS2 games. That's great.

I would like nothing more then to have Shadow of the Colossus, RE4, and MGS3 on my HDD.

Does anybody know whether or not these originals include achievements?

But on-topic, Max Payne is a great game and though the sequel didn't recieve the most positive press, I feel is a much better game. Some of the best dialogue and voice acting I've seen. Especially Max.

Usually Xbox originals don't include achievements and I can't see why these would be exceptions no matter how good they are. Enlighten me if I'm wrong.

not to mention save yourself a LOT of hard drive space, 5 or 6 gigs is not bad for a full current-gen game install but these old ones are almost the same size, in most cases they are just not worth the space.

if MS are pushing the digital download thing they need to include a much bigger drive on the next xbox, I've got a 120g and after installing a few games and downloading a few demos plus any movies and Live Arcade titles (which are getting bigger all the time) I dont have all that much space left.

The reason for you having not much space is because of the demos you are downloading why keep them? And why keep downloaded movies that expire 24hrs after watching them?

My hard drive usually has only ~7GB free, which I recycle to install the latest game I'm playing. I have not purchased a single thing from video store, and there are not much demos (I've plenty of Arcade games).

Finally, actually some of the demos are really fun and have high replay value (like Fifa Street, for example), which makes keeping them desirable.

(This is a 20GB drive).

6gb feels like too much for a game that old. Sloppy compression work by the devs.

If I was getting it I would do lke this:
Download and play through the game then delete it. If I wanted to play it again I'd just download it once more when I felt the urge. That way you save disk space if you are a 20gb owner.

Yeah 6GB is way too much. I have only 2GBs left on my hard drive and I can't really delete anything. My hard drive is filled with some Rock Band, Burnout and Halo stuff.

I bet I will have to get a larger HDD soon because RB DLC is only getting better and better.

To echo what some others have said, you're better off buying these used. GameStop sells the first one for $5 and the second for $3. What's more, they won't clog your hard drive.

Max Payne 2 was one of my favorite games of all time. I played most of the first one but never finished it for some reason....maybe I'll buy it on the marketplace as I have misplaced my original disc.
