AceGamez Review: Buzz! Brain of the UK

The latest title to be released is Buzz! Brain of the UK, a regionalised version of the franchise that specialises in questions based on events, people, music, television and everything else that has made our country great. There are eighteen countries in total that have received this localisation, but other than this element, experienced Buzz! players will notice that the game remains largely the same. For those not in the know, your first dip into the Buzz! franchise requires the purchase of four controllers, each equipped with four coloured buttons and one large red buzzer. The controllers come with a Bluetooth receiver that is easy to set up and although you need to purchase eight batteries, you'll be pleasantly surprised at the amount of game time they provide.

The main game is relatively simple, but lots of fun; players must choose from around ten characters, each of which has three or four outfits available, followed by a choice of a large number of rude and amusing noises that represent their push of a button. The aim of the game is to build up points over a variety of rounds to give yourself the best advantage when going into the 'Final Countdown'. (Buzz! Brain of the UK, PS3) 7/10
