NowGamer Review: Samurai Shodown Anthology

It was a clever mix of samurai setting, anime, and armed combat that helped Samurai Shodown stand out from the pack back in 1993 and carve (pun intended) quite a following among hordes of Neo-Geo owners – all three of them. Despite being remembered for having some of the most hilarious examples of Japanese English ever seen in a videogame (its title serves as a wonderful giveaway), the series is, in every other department, flawlessly presented. (PSP, Samurai Shodown Anthology) 6.3/10
