Family Friendly Gaming writes: "We Ski was one of the great video games to be released on the Wii. Namco Bandai made sure it was approachable by all ages, and skill sets. The only thing I wanted out of that game was snowboarding. I snowboarded in the Cascades for years, and have always had a soft spot in my heart for that particular winter activity. Namco Bandai has proven they listen to Family Friendly Gaming with the sequel We Ski & Snowboard. They took everything that was good from We Ski, and then added in snowboarding. Technically they have added more stuff, but we will get to that. This Wii game is playable via the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, or the Wii Balance Board with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk. I have to admit the inclusion of the Wii Balance Board is another facet that makes We Ski & Snowboard an instant classic.
We Ski & Snowboard is one of the most realistic winter resort simulators I have run across. The masterful design of this game allows for people to stay warm, and still enjoy the excitement of screaming down the slopes. No one gets hurt like we do in real life. I am one of those people that appreciate this kind of experimentation, since I retired from snowboarding due to the concussions. On top of that We Ski & Snowboard is a lot cheaper than renting or purchasing the gear, the lift ticket, chains for the vehicle, and all the hassle of getting cold and wet out on the slopes."
