A video Comparison of Ninja Gaiden Black on Xbox vs. Ninja Gaiden Sigma on PS3. Just to show the improvements. For the HD version click on the video link below the embedded video.
Awesome find GaMr!! I loved Ninja Gaiden: Black but there was one MAJOR flaw that made it somewhat annoying at times, and that was the camera views. The game looks wonderful and I am so excited that I get to play it soon! Wooo! Also, it looks like they fixed the camera problems in the PS3 version, but I will knock on wood and wait until I am playing it to say for sure. If they did, this game will be flawless in my opinion and will be one of the greatest in my collection. Even if they didn't fix the camera views it will still be awesome. Thanks for that again, GaMr! =)
I really want this game :P The leaves in the first bit are sooo cool:P
i downloaded this WMV and it is pretty sickening. WOW.. one of the must own games.
Sickening? lol. Did you mean sick? =P
Sigma looks amazing - I can't wait to see what Ninja Gaiden 2 will look like :)
exactly what im thinking
And only on XBOX 360!
if Ninja Gaiden Sigma does well on the PS3, Ninja Gaiden 2 could very well come to the PS3. as Capcom and numerous other developers have shown, if you aren't owned by Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo, your game can end up on all platforms. Ninja Gaiden Sigma looks amazing, and i can't wait to fire it up on my PS3. i used to own Ninja Gaiden Black on my X Box, but i traded it in a long time ago before finishing it (it was a dark time and i had to trade some stuff in for new games). 3rd party exclusives are truly a rarity these days. given the difficulty of development on the PS3, any title built from the ground up on the PS3 will probably stay exclusive, or come to the 360 at a much later date (like VF5), or vice versa. if the title was being developed for both at the same time, you'll see a simultaneous release (like GTA4 and Assassin's Creed). in either case, it's not a big deal to anyone but the fanboys, apparently. i own a PS3. most, if not all multiplatform games that come out will be purchased for my PS3. the same will apply to others that have only a PS3, or those that have only a 360. at some point later this year i'll get a 360, at which point it will just boil down to which multi-platform games feel better on which console (since i enjoy the Prince of Persia series more on my PS2, i'll probably get Assassin's Creed on the PS3). loyalty to just one system is silly. they both have great stuff coming out for them (exclusively), and some good multi-platform stuff. one isn't better than the other, and neither is the "right" or "wrong" choice when it comes to which one to purchase. buy what console you'll personally enjoy, and who cares what everybody else thinks. at least the PS3 and 360 are getting games like Assassin's Creed, Mercenaries 2, Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma (or 2), Stranglehold, Oblivion, F.E.A.R, etc. the Wii isn't getting *any* of those games. imagine how *they* feel. actually, they probably don't care, as Mario, Metroid, Zelda, and Smash Bros always seems to be enough for the Nintendo side of the fence.
VF5 is a arcade port from sega new arcade machine which has two 6800 and since ps3 uses a nvdia GPU RSX its easier to port there games on the PS3
Quite nice, this will be mine.
How are you gonna compare an xbox game to a ps3 game?! Oh, I forgot why, cuz when it`s ps3 vs. xbox 360, the 360 allways wins!
Except when the developers take the time to make a decent port. Ala Oblivion and Fight Night Round 3.
grow up. this is not about comparing consoles. its not all about console wars. it is just about looking at how the devs have improved the game.
I thought it was good, but honestly i think it could have been better. Or maybe im just too tired
but being a Ps3 game I expected more! of course it looks better than the xbox 1 upscaled 720p. the PS3 version has beautiful colors an light effects but.... I expected way more from this JUST BECASUE its a PS3 game!! you know BUILT FOR THE PS3.but It looks great, just not how I envisioned!!
did you watch the hd version? Ie. download. The character models and environments are something to behold in HD.
It doesn't look bad, but It should look MUCH better than that. Oh well. Its still in development. They still have time to polish. Plus, downloaded videos of a game always look much worse than what you see when you see the game on your tv anyway and I still want it, so they just need to hurry up and get it here.
When will you realize your precious ps3 has a slighlty better gpu then the original xbox. It cant even to AA without sacrificing frame rate
This game looks so sick..
there should be more leaves falling
have to say after watching the HD vid, edge PS3.
If you go over to IGN's preview of this game they state "Tecmo said that it has just recently managed to implement full 1080p support into the game, and at a full 60fps to boot. Yes, this is one slick-looking title." How sweet is that?! I definitely can't wait for this game to come out!
I own a Playstation 3 and Xbox 360,I've played the two original Ninja Gaiden games on the original Xbox and love them much, and I will buy NG:S for the Playstation 3,but does anybody know if Ninja Gaiden 2 has been confirmed or know the release date for the Xbox 360?
No news for NG2. All we know is that Itagaki is working on "something" he hasn't done before (ie. not DOA nor NG), and that he's supposed to develop on x360... He also said that NG fans won't be forgotten, but if you compound the first information, you can hypothesise it's not NG2...
Ninja Gaiden 2 is an upcoming sequel to Ninja Gaiden (2004). It is being developed by Team Ninja and published through Tecmo. While not much information is currently available regarding the title, the game was acknowledged in an interview with Tomonobu Itagaki from E3 2006. However, specific information, such as an official title for the game or all the systems which it may be released on, were not officially announced. On 2006 Tokyo Game Show the 1UP site interviewed Itagaki and suggested the game will most probable to be Xbox 360 exclusive. When asked the possibility comes to other platforms (PS3) Itagaki responded "Hardly" because Team Ninja is very busy in the next 5 years. He also said - "...if you're working on a game like Ninja Gaiden 2, where it's really important that enemies are smart and challenging, then we might use up to two threads on AI." As if that weren't blatant enough, he was pressed about the game's existence. "I won't upset anybody by denying your expectations. I like to see people's expectations fulfilled." He might be telling us what we want to hear, but then, it would be just as easy to tell us to hold on. http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... #13.1 everybody and their mamma knows a next-gen NG is coming to the 360 their a more current and straight forward thread somewhere but i cant find it.
they also improved the moves and you can run on water through out the whole game.
I have both consoles, but will be getting the PS3 version for sure.
upon watching the start of the video (demonstrating the 360 version), I was saying to myself "hey, that looks really nice." But by the time it went through the first PS3 footage, and switched again back to the 360 version, the 360's absolutely paled in comparison. It just looked bland, while the PS3's had an element of depth and richness to it. OK, I'm sold. Add another one to my wish list.
What 360 version? That was Xbox 1 vs. PS3.
That was exactly what i was thinking lol he must think the ps3 owns the 360 now
What a dumbass! I bet you thought the ps3 FINALLY had a win over the 360. Unfortunately we're talking about an Xbox game! Not a 360. HAHA! Good stuff!
...but there's still no denying that the PS3 version was superior, right? Nor does it change the fact that I want this game, does it? Furthermore, pleaes be so kind as to point out where in my post I claimed that the PS3 was an overall more superior system than the 360, because I can't seem to find it. ...And you know what, I hope for your sake that the 360 does end up being the "better" system (as y'all so like to contend), because it's obvious from your ongoing typically childish and retarded comments, that the 360 is all you have going for you in your pathetic little lives. Suckerstar, FirstKnightgown, and Power of Greeners: Behold the Three Stooges of N4G. Why, the sum of all your IQ's couldn't even rival that of Forrest Gump...and you dare ridicule ME, and call ME names for a simple mistake I made??? Rest assurred that you can read this comment (a feat in itself for you) knowing that my baby toenail alone bears more intelligence and than any of you three little vermin. You are good for one thing, however: Demonstrating that you're clearly not worthy of any more of my time, and encouraging me to hit ignore all of your sorry asses. So feel free to whine to your heart's content; doing so is only going to fall upon deaf ears. Neanderthals.

Whats with the poor framerate when they show the PS3 version?
I think that the fact that the xbox version is even remotely comparable says just how good the original was. A good game for the PS3 but I was a little underwhelmed, expected a lot more. It basically looks like the original but at 720p. Lots of time to add polish though.
At ease. This is not a wich console is better video. Its showing the improvements of how far this game has come in its new build. Also in my opinion Playstation owners should rejoice. This is a great trade off for DMC4. Good buy and enjoy all. I got more vids sitting in pending.
