ZTGD Reviews Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic

Cat writes: It is gimmicky, to be sure, but Fists of Plastic is entertaining and at $10 is a fair price for well done kitsch. Moreover, the simplified control scheme means that in spite of the drunk monkey fighting everyone fights more or less like the same drunk monkey. With the omission of online multi-player the two game modes don't quite add up to a whole, and it is fair to say the game lacks staying power. What the title has in spades, however, is undeniable accessibility, and in the end that is the wave Fists of Plastic is riding: charming accessibility. (PS3, Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic) 7/10

If it's that hard to make the online multiplayer mode, I think, at least, kinda story mode is needed for the game along with the current challenge and multiplayer mode.

One of the FUNNEST game this gen......
And I`d imagine online will be patched soon. But, if you have friends or family that are around all the time pick this up. Dodgeball is one of the best MP game modes I`ve ever played in my entire life. The challenges are addictive and challenging also which is cool.

its fun and worth the 10 $
for the price its a 10 and a lot more fun than some games you pay 15$ or 20$ to play

This game is real fun IF note IF you have some friends to play with. But without online multiplayer and with limited single player it probably wont last long for the less "social gamers"

had a blast with 4 players tough, expecialy the mode where you need to throw the fist to the basket to score can be so much fun :)

I hate when games, that should or need multiplayer don't have multiplayer.

An online mode is necessary, i've played it with my brother offline and it was goddamn fun, you have the same fun you can have in a Super Smash Bros. Lack of online playing is a terrible mistake.

Agreed - I'm not exactly an advocate for online gaming in general, but this game needs it. The multi-player is too much fun to play with AI.

Perfectly said
cause I have no clue how anyone could say they love SSB and think this is just "meh". Depending on the support it gets, perhaps the developers may bring out online for it in the future... perhaps.

I like Ragdoll kung fu
But it needs online badly.

I've been on the fence
with this game. a 7/10 isn't bad, but there are other great PSN games out too. It's hard to decide...maybe I should just wait for Fat Princess.

The PC version has online!

yeah online for this game should be easy to put in
A simple patch should take care of it.

hate to be a whiner but yeah this game would really benefit from an online mode.

i just cant see playing this alone... with online i would buy it in a heartbeat.
