Activision's upcoming sandbox title Prototype will ship in New Zealand on June 12th.
Prototype follows the story of Alex Mercer, a genetically mutated man who has lost all memory of who he is and where he's come from.
Players will command Mercer's shape-shifting abilities as he attempts to learn about his past. The game is set in a modern-day New York City, with players navigating the terrain with Parkour-style acrobatics in the vein of Assassin's Creed.
Prototype is awaiting classification from the Office of Film and Video Labelling, but will be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC upon release.
