Ars writes: "Video game tie-ins for movies and TV shows are often terrible, something just about every gamer will readily admit to. For every game like The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay there are scores of rotten licensed titles like Superman Returns that leave a foul taste in our mouths.
Enter Wanted: Weapons of Fate, a game that continues the story of 2008's Wanted movie with mixed results. When we interviewed Ulf Andersson at GDC two weeks ago, he made a point of explaining that the game would contain things for fans of both the comic and film; what he either didn't realize or didn't want to admit is that the title will only hold appeal for those of us who at least saw the movie, as the plot will be relatively incomprehensible for anyone who doesn't have a reasonable amount of familiarity with the film's story. At the same time, the game isn't a terrible title... it's just not all that amazing, either."
