Countdown's Keith Olbermann uses Beck GTA4 criticism against him

Darkpower of GameGazette writes: "This is why I emulate this guy on this site and in other places. He knows what he's talking about.

On Countdown with Keith Olbermann on MSNBC last night, "KO" laid the smack down on FOX News' Glenny (or, as he called him, Harold Hill) concerning Beck's assertion about a Pittsburgh, PA shooting. Keith does a better job than I can with explaining it, since I don't know all the details about the crime.

But Beck is "Worst", and just listen to what Keith brings up in order to slam Beck.

NOTE: The video may play an ad first before going to the actual video, and this is the entire Worst Person's segment from last night."

I watched this last night and had to watch it again. Olbermann makes since.

Olbermann is a coward. He NEVER allows anyone on his show who disagrees with him. Think what you may about his rival Bill O'Reilly, at least O'Reilly allows both democrats and republicans on his show to debate issues. Olbermann just sits behind his desk spewing venom while never having the courage to confront any of his targets face to face. His show deserves it's low ratings. Even with democrats now in power, he still can't muster even half of the viewers that FOX gets.

EDIT @ below: Pelosi and Clinton are Democrats just like Olbermann. It may seem like O'Reilly and Hannity's debates are screamfests, but that is only because of the intense nature of the issues being debated. Since Olbermann does not allow any opposing viewpoints on his show, it does, of course, seem calmer. O'Reilly and Hannity have democrats on almost every night - Pat Robertson is the only republican I can recall being on Olbermann's show - and that was really just an election special - not a regular "Countdown" episode.

He has had some people on that he had some disagreement with. During the 08 primaries, he did have Pat Buchanan on to talk about the Republican side of the elections, he had Hilary Clinton on and he really didn't like the way she was conducting her presidential bid at the time, and he had Nancy Pelosi on last night and it seemed as if they didn't really see eye to eye over the recent story about the Obama Administration's claim about telecom immunity.

It just doesn't seem like he does because his show isn't a screamfest like O'Reilly and Hannity are. He allows his guests to finish their thought before he responds (whereas O'Reilly and Hannity (or Rush or Beck) will cut you off and try to yell over top of you if you are owning them).

Wow how do I get the chainsaw in GTA? I mean I would've bought the game instead of rent it with that kind of a weapon to use.

I guess he must have had the Cliffy B edition of Rock Stars hit if he was chainsawing people in half. I've seen that flamer on TV before when I was at my folks' place and my mom was watching him. We both had a good laugh at his expense since he cries so much on his show about ridiculous crap. He deserves an Emmy for being able to deliver such a water works performance at the drop of a hat.

I did a scientific study that your genitals shrink from over exposure to gun fire audio. Guess all us shooter fans are boinked then huh?

If these people who knock videogames so much would take the dang time to actually play them from start to completion then these stories wouldn't happen. Like the fact that you can play through GTA without breaking the law entirely up until the story portions of the game. Sure there's that violence there, but it's not over the top and it fits the story.
