Acer AspireRevo: Nettop Meets Games Console

Once again all the leaks and rumours have proven to be true, as Acer has just launched its first ION based system which was known as the Hornet, but its retail name will be the rather less cool sounding AspireRevo.

In terms of hardware features, nothing seems to have really changed from the earlier leaked information and we're still looking at a single core Atom 230 processor and the Geforce 9400M chipset. What we didn't know was the port configuration and it seems like Acer has been pleasantly generous here. The AspireRevo will feature an HDMI port, a D-sub, an eSATA connector, a multi-format card reader, Gigabit Ethernet, six USB 2.0 ports and a pair of 3.5mm audio jacks.

The story is too old to be commented.
