Final Fantasy was spawned by a company named Square co. in its darkest days. If Final Fantasy didn't sell well, Square co. would be gone forever. Obviously the game sold well; well enough to develop twelve other main series titles, at least ten spin-off's or sequels, two computer animated full length films, a full anime series, and plaster the shelf's of anime shops around the world with Final Fantasy paraphernalia."
