Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is a worthy entry in a series which has to date been constantly defined by success and innovation. It features an expansive, beautifully-rendered playground of a city accompanied by a compelling main storyline which makes it exceedingly easy to burn hours just roaming around and doing whatever you please. Graphically, the game is among the best of the DS, and the audio presentation is pretty impressive, too. The touch screen implementation is also admirable, as it hardly ever feels forced.
On the contrary; in nearly all cases, it actually adds to the experience. Of course, Chinatown Wars is also just as offensive as the rest of the series, featuring content which earns it an undisputed M Rating. But if you're of the proper demographic and you're looking for a sandbox-style mature game that will last you for quite some time, look no further. GTA: Chinatown Wars is truly among the best of the DS.
