Zero Gear: The next level in kart racing

One of the cool things about Polycount.com is, you get to view work from artists of all skill levels. Game Students will post their 3D models in the forums for others to comment or critique, then industry professionals will post their latest game asset they created at their place of work. And sometimes a special forum post will come around and be updated continuously throughout a game making process. The special post I am referring to is Zero Gear, the next level of kart racing.

Gamer Limit Review: Zero Gear

Gamer Limit writes: "When you think of competitive kart racing games, Mario Kart is the main franchise that comes to mind, with several iterations on all number of Nintendo systems. However, developer Nimblebit is hoping to shake up the kart racing genre with their first offering for the PC, Zero Gear.

It's hard not to draw parallels to Mario Kart when speaking of a kart racing game, and Zero Gear stays true to the style, offering numerous weapons to use against your opponents in an effort to score an underhanded win."
