This week we talk about AI and graphics in the Campaign, and talk about the thing on everyone's minds today - the announcement and revelation of the Halo Legendary Edition. Lots of froth and panic inside. Enjoy!
I love reading these updates as it's so interesting to see what it takes to create a videogame. Good stuff though on the grpahics and the A.I that's so awesome how it adapts in the vehicle to shoot where you want it to...
i trie to post las weeks update but when i tried i was so appauled by the system i gave up. Yeah it is nice to be able to hear what exactly is going on (to a certain extent) in the studio. The battles are certainly sounding more impressive than before, hopefully leaning a little further to the full scale war that most of us are urging for.
"So if a brute is giving you a really hard time, lobbing Brute Grenades, for example, you can easily cause the gunner to pick that guy as your next target with simple steering and looking." So is I guess those are the fourth type of grenades in the game?
I think Frankie meant that the Brute grenades are the spike grenades. I do like that Bungie gives us updates on many stuff each week. I can't wait to play Halo 3, its gonna be awesome.
could quite possibly be the highest grossing from of entertainment ever! My guesstimate: In the first week 4+ million copies sold- $240,000,000. :~0
mark, then some of those would certainly be limited and ledgendary edition, which could push that final tally even higher. I will be looking at the ledgendary offering closely and if it looks good for the price, then I'll be one those spending the extra cash.
weekly updates are a double edged sword: reason 1: they let fans know what's going on with their current project, increase the hype machine, and show fans that they're not monkeying around reason 2: it is a weekly activity report that a lot of employees at companies have to fill out (in this case, it is a weekly company-wide status report). so in summary, fans get an update, and supervisors, and corp managers have an idea where they're headed
is going to rock out!
