Now this is something I can respect. Kojima is the same way.

Kinda wish Bungie would do a new franchise though. And this time alittle more realistic plz.

Depends. The center word of all developers mindmaps should be "FUN" the rest either the game is arcady or realistic doesn't matter as long as it's fun. I prefer having the game as realistic and fun as possible because imo you can't beat battling out against each other in a scenery looking so realistic you can almost smell it. Working as a team to accomplish a set goal.

maybe that's why the left MSFT
to have more freedom.

Realism is overated. I'll take the "arcadyness" of Halo and Call of Duty 4 anyday. Socom: Confrontation and GTA IV are perfect examples of too much realism, both are BORING AS HELL, and well Socom is just an all around bad game. :)

For it's fans ... man that almost brings a tear to my eye. I love companies who love their fans. Bungie gives back to the community 100%. A real class act, I wish a lot more companies are like this.

JokesOnYou3491d ago (Edited 3491d ago )

always talking as if they have inside info about whats going on internaly within these company's Bungie has always said they have a great relationship with micro and Halo ODST is proof of that. The split means that they wanted to be fully independent, they love making games not for profit but because people/fans enjoy their work, so being independent means that OTHER future IP's *could be on multiplatforms and thats great news for gamers because these guys support the hell out of their work and their fcking awesome at what they do.

Blizzard is pretty good to their fans. Let's see what happens with Stacraft II especially considering the Activision Blizzard merger.

Could this be the reason why they separated from Microsoft?

Eiffel3491d ago (Edited 3491d ago )

They separated because their contract was up. They became a privately held independent company. But they are developing ODST to keep their community and fans happy at their own free choice.

meepmoopmeep3491d ago (Edited 3491d ago )

but they could have reinstated the contract and still given fans love.
plus have the gzbillion dollars of funds from MSFT

DavidMacDougall3491d ago

Yeah they could have went back but didnt want to thats says it all

Anon19743491d ago (Edited 3491d ago )

They make games for a SICK amount of profit! :)

Seriously...keep it up, Bungie. Always looking forward to what you've got in store.

Why o why3491d ago (Edited 3491d ago )
