OCZ Summit series SSDs to arrive in late April

Fudzilla: "According to a new report at DailyTech, the OCZ Summit series solid state disks are expected to be on the market by the end of April. This time around, OCZ intends to aim this product line at the "premium" market, with performance expected to be at best.

The drives will feature Samsung controllers and firmware along with 64MB of cache to improve random read and write performance. In other lineups such as the mid-range Apex series, the company uses JMicron controllers as they are usually amongst the cheapest to produce."
