Pokemon Platinum Version now available; launch event pictures

Pokemaniacs are probably wrapped up right now playing Pokemon Platinum Version. Pokemon Platinum Version launched today for the Nintendo DS. Nintendo had an early launch event yesterday at the Nintendo World Store in New York. See a couple of pictures from Nintendo here.

Players can experience a new storyline, characters, Giratina Origin Forme Pokemon, WiFi gameplay, or import Pokémon from Pokémon Diamond Version and Pokémon Pearl Version and the Game Boy Advance Pokémon games (Pokémon Ruby Version, Pokémon Sapphire Version, Pokémon FireRed Version, Pokémon LeafGreen Version and Pokémon Emerald Version).

Pokemon Platinum Version is currently the top selling videogame on Amazon.com.
