IncGamers report that Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, will be hitting retail stores in June this year.
The first game had potential, it's just the game engine felt pretty shoddy.
That's the only fault I could pick with it also.
Never got around to the original, but we are sorely lacking in Western games. Heard good things about the first one so I may give this a look.
You are right. Western games are quite rare, actually. Well worth a try anyway, just because of the difference in genre! =)
Oooh, that looks really cool.
Sweet--I love the original. It's graphics may not have been amazing, but it's story and gameplay were great. And the desert environments were vivid enough that they actually reminded me of where I grew up. The game just had such character; it's pretty unusual to be able to cite fire-and-brimestone bible verses while firing a gun at evil-doers. I'm definitely getting this sequel. Edit: actually, this looks like a prequel to me. Looking at some screenshots there's a guy in armor who looks like a younger version of the preacher. But I haven't seen the trailer yet.
