GamePlanet tried hard to think of some genuinely positive comments to make about Tony Hawk's Motion, but came back empty. This crass marketing exercise is designed to milk more money from the Tony Hawk cow and should be avoided at all costs.

I still remember the Sunday afternoon in October 1999 when I caught a subway to a Blockbuster Video to rent Tony Hawk's Pro Skater based on a neighbor's recommendation. Little did I realize that it would spark a love affair that would start before the Birdman Bandwagon fired up and would last well beyond the point at which "Downhill Jam" wasn't just a spin-off, it was a pithy descriptor of the series.
Team Teabag writes: "I've been a fan of the Tony Hawk series since his first incarnation on the Playstation and if you're looking for a walk down memory lane then this might very well be the game for you, and by that I mean that this also has the horrible fuzzy graphics of yesteryear."
There are many things that seemed a good idea in the pitch meeting. Freddy Vs Jason, a cereal that thinks it's a milkshake, Shaq Fu, changing the player names but otherwise just releasing the exact same Pro Evo game 4 years in a row as EA eats into your lead and devours you. Tony Hawk Motion DS is one such thing and it'll be easy to illustrate since GV was there.... right at the beginning...
