Games2C: Spectrobes: Beyond The Portals Review

Simplistic button bashing rules of engagement eventually renders combat tiresome. But exploration, collection and nurturing never gets dull. With the exception of an annoying save function that only allows progress to be stored from a single in–game location (not ideal for a portable RPG); this game is a worthy sequel that should keep Pokémon on its toes. (Nintendo DS, Spectrobes: Beyond the Portals) 6/10
