This year's incarnation boasts many improvements and, for the most part, can back it up. Better controls lead to a more realistic gaming experience, letting you enjoy baseball instead of reminding you that you're playing a game. Little bugs here or there sometimes pull you out of that experience, but MLB 2K9's user-friendly gameplay and stellar graphics overshadow the hiccups." B/A+
