Games2C: SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection Review

But equally, there's some duff notes being played. Vectorman, Kid Chameleon and the Tetris clone Columns never appealed the first time and are unlikely to on the re–run. But fans of retro classics have a lot to look forward to, making this a stand–out title in the compilation genre – thanks largely to the sheer volume of great games Sega had a hand in back in the day.

As a side note, Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection can output the games in 720p with higher resolution graphics for HD televisions, meaning gamers with good TVs can enjoy a better than arcade quality – that's technology for you.
