Screen Play writes: "You probably haven't heard about Little King's Story, even though it's due in just a couple of months exclusively for Wii. But you will respect the pedigree of its creators, and should put any cynicism aside to give the charismatic game a chance to win you over.
The Japanese team working on Little King's Story include executive producer Yasuhiro Wada (creator of Harvest Moon), director Youichi Kawaguchi (Dragon Quest VIII), and designers Hideo Minaba (Final Fantasy XII) and Kazuyuki Kurashima (Mario & Luigi, Super Mario RPG, Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland).
The game blends role playing elements with real-time strategy, empire building, town planning and Harvest Moon-style life simulation.
Players control young King Leon who begins the game in a ramshackle castle with a kingdom of just three ministers, 12 citizens, three cows and no money. Your goal is to grow your empire while keeping your digital denizens happy and fending off rivals."
