IGN: The Last Ninja Review

Out of the three different Commodore 64 games released to launch the system on America's Virtual Console, The Last Ninja is certainly the best. It's a deep, interesting action/adventure that feels different from anything else on the VC, and its music is shockingly good. The one major drawback keeping it from being it as fun as it could have been is its control scheme, which is awkward to get used to and still feels a little lose even after you do. But perhaps the two upcoming sequels will do something to correct that.
