GamesAid raises £125,000 for charity

GI.Biz writes: "GamesAid, has announced that it has raised more than GBP 125,000 since October 2008 through a number of industry-led initiatives.

In addition, Andy Payne has been appointed as chairman and Sarah Seaby as vice chairman, while Mark Ward from Bastion and Richard Stickler from Gem Distribution are now Trustees of the charity.

Codemasters raised GBP 102,581 from sales of Colin McRae: DIRT and Eurogamer raised GBP 15,982 from sales of tickets for the Eurogamer Expo 2008."
