SP writes: "With such huge anticipation and expectations for Puzzle Quest: Galactrix from gamers around the world, it's easy to forget that just a few years ago, Melbourne's Infinite Interactive couldn't find a publisher interested in its hugely popular predecessor.

The search for a publishing partner was very frustrating for veteran games designer and Infinite CEO Steve Fawkner because many publishers loved Puzzle Quest but rejected it, believing it would not be successful. A major Japanese publisher had also all but signed the game before scuttling the project at the last moment, wasting nine months of Infinite's time."
