Xbox 360 Casts Spell Over GDC

Microsoft showcased its best titles and its most talented developers yesterday. The lineup for the pre-Game Developer's Conference event was nothing if not impressive. Microsoft brought out its top developers to showcase the titles. Lionhead's Peter Molyneux was flown in from England to show off Fable 2, Mistwalker's Hironobu Sakaguchi gave presentations on Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey, and BioWare co-founders Greg Zeschuk and Ray Muzyka previewed the action role-playing game Mass Effect. Microsoft also showed off Forza Motorsport 2, Shadowrun, Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, and a host of new titles for Xbox Live.

Although the rest of the games shown were certainly not lacking, they did take second stage to Microsoft's role-playing titles.

Also the information isn't over yet with even a Forza Motorsport 2 Audio Technology showoff on the 9th. Sony is going to have to pull something big to get back the attention. Although this is a Developers event and not a whos more popular and i'm glad to see what all three are bringing to the table!

Its the truth, there are no games on any other platform that could ever catch that much attention...

Just throw HALO 3 in there then thats it done deal!

I wouldn't say anything til this year goes by. I think this years going to determine who is going to take it and who's gonna leave it. The truth is Microsoft showed stuff but it wasn't all that, i think Sony is really going to blow everybody away. Just wait and see.

I am glad that Microsoft is bringing the "heat" because as a proud Xbox360 owner I'm very excited about the slew of kick @$$ titles on the horizon.
