Weren't KZ2 haters mocking the game when it was on the top of the Gamefly chart by saying "Yep. It's just a rental."?

Currently Killzone 2 is #8 on Amazon Video Game Best Sellers, with Halo Wars #22.

Whats the point?

Its funny how 2 factors have begun to determine the quality of a game; metacritic score and sales. How has it become that the hobby of video game play has been reduced to such insignificant values.

I remember a little game called Pocky and Rocky for the Super Nintendo. I played the crap out of that game. It was great fun for me, and, at the time, it probably sold a total of 100,000 copies worldwide, would have been at the bottom of the game fly list and would have a metacritic score of 72.

These articles are rediculous and just add to this silly ideology taken from the Abercrombie School of what's cool.
