"Many plans" for Heavy Rain DLC

Quantic Dream's David Cage has revealed that he has "many plans" to create DLC for his upcoming PS3 title, Heavy Rain.

When asked by D+PAD in a recent interview whether there was much scope for DLC in Heavy Rain, Cage replied:

"Honestly, my focus is on putting as much content as possible on the Blu-ray. We have many plans for DLC, but I won't work on them until the game is finished and fully satisfying. Games are expensive; my focus is to give as much as I can to gamers for their money."

That's how you know Mr.Cage and his team are great game developers.
Putting the GAMERS needs first.

I'm tired of paying 60$ for these half-assed games that i beat in 4-5 hours and never play again.

Heavy rain's 2000+ page script and literally hundreds of different outcomes + this DLC will gurantee i'll be playing Heavy Rain well into 2010.

this, Uncharted 2, and God of War III.

im actually one of those guys that dont mind paying for DLC unless its more than OBVIOUS it should of been in the retail version and 95 percent of the time its ok to have DLC even near the release of the full game itself.

I strongly agree with what David Cage said. If a game has tons of content on the disc itself, how much more quality DLC can you get when they launch one?

People like playing games, but developers should stop the blatant rip-off they're doing to us.

Foxgod3213d ago

hmmm, they are doing DLC for movies now.

ThatCanadianGuy3213d ago

Impressive isn't it? PS3 exclusive's are so amazing they look like movies.

Foxgod3213d ago

Yep, like Uwe Bol movies.

ThatCanadianGuy3213d ago

Nah,That's more Gears of war then anything..

Foxgod3213d ago (Edited 3213d ago )

Gears is getting the lord of the rings treatment.
I think uwe bol is willing to do a little big planet movie tho
Thats his style, he already did pacman, that had the same level of complexity.

Cage gets it right. Criterion got it better though :P

Kinda hard to say that when the game hasn't been released yet. We don't know if Cage will be on par with Criterion.
