Street Fighter IV is a great game, but it could learn a thing or two from its long-time rival, Mortal Kombat, and, of all things, Dance Dance Revolution.
That title almost got me mad...until I read the article. Still, it all sounds like a very odd complaint. I always figure I miss moves because of imprecise input. Whether it's early or late, I know to just try to be more perfect the next time I try it.
as a massive MK fan it is nice to see fighting games get some of the limelight for once
Yeah no kidding - Mortal Kombat actually does some risky things from a mechanics perspective, it's sad that the series never gets credit for being legit fighters.
I would kill for MK Deceptions training mode in SF4. I am a huge MK fan, but I want a real MK game not a gimmicky comic mix.
I've never been a fan of the move structure of the MK series, but I do agree that there should be some better training mechanics in place in SFIV to ease people into the moves a bit easier
Yeah I'm sorta learning by the brute force technique of just playing tons of matches till I can finally get the moves down with one charecter...
That's the same way I did it. First with SFII and again with SFIV. lol.
...what a classic
