Record industry talks Irish ISP into blocking P2P sites

Ireland's largest ISP has agreed to begin blocking access to filesharing sites thanks to a request from the recording industry, and says it won't oppose any court order on the matter. The record companies have sent the same request to Ireland's other ISPs as well, saying they could face possible legal action if they don't comply.

I read this in the metro today. It won't last the government will step in under the censorship laws.

Lucky I broke free from eircom the MS of Ireland.

UPS will be effective as well. I don't download anything illegal... well maybe gaming music of games I own.
