Alan Wake for GDC? Remedy isn't saying

Remedy has told VG247 it's not saying whether or not Alan Wake will appear at GDC next month, after weekend chatter pegged the horror for a San Franciscan reveal.

The story is too old to be commented.

Alan Wake will be a 2010 or maybe even a 2011 release. I love how xbox fanboys complain that Killzone 2 took long to develop yet Alan Wake is still nowhere to be found. No actual gameplay footage or anything. K2 and AW were both unveiled at E3 2005 yet only K2 delivers and has an actual release date. Who has the superior hardware now? Remedy can't deliver the graphics it promised on the 360 that's why it's taking this long. LOL.

It's a good thing that its a multiplatform title though. That way, when they promote the game, they can use footage from the superior version--- The PC version. MS did it with Gears 1 and it made the 360 fanboys go apesh*t claiming best graphics when in reality the actual console version was not as advertised.

sure they are not gonna confirm it , they want it to be surprise.

Microsoft love surprise.

if not GDC 2009, E309

I'd be willing to bet that they're not saying simply because they're not sure. I'd imagine if they were certain of an E3 appearance, they'd mention it and if they weren't, they'd also say it.

Taking forever to get released is a good thing. Meaning they are doing very hard work on the development.

If you watch that Tech demo of the game you can see why.

the hate? GT5 is taking a long time, but I bet it is going to be awesome.

Even though Alan Wake is a new IP, let's wait for a demo before we judge.
